Cornelia is an artist in traditional, figurative painting and experimental, technical art history. She is born in Zurich, Switzerland where she lives. She also resides in Geneva, Frankfurt Germany and Barcelona Spain. She studied full time for three years at the Barcelona Art Academy where she completed the painting program. Her specialisation is in historical paintings from the 16th to the 19th century.

She has her own atelier Atelier Figuratif, where she organizes workshops. She is also part of the Zurich-based artist group aktzeichnen.ch, serving as an active member of the team since 2005. Currently she is part of a Art technology research project at the SIK-ISEA. Cornelia is fluent in German, English, French and Spanish.
